Many folk customs in Moravian Slovakia are linked to winter. Saint Lucy, Saint Stephen, Three Kings, or Fašank (carnival). All these holidays are still celebrated today with traditional processions, entertainment and cimbalom performances. The best known is Fašank in Strání.
