Vlastivedne Museum in Kyjov

The museum is housed in a Renaissance château – the town’s oldest building. Since 2010, a new modern building has formed part of the museum. Visitors can see ethnographic, archaeological and natural history exhibitions. New for 2020, after extensive reconstruction, are many interactive elements and a completely new exhibition about the Germanic Langobard tribe, whose largest burial ground in Central Europe was discovered in Kyjov when its commercial zone was being built.
