The Plže folk architecture monument conservation area is the pride of the village of Petrov. The grounds have around 80 wine cellars built since the 15th century. The cellars were built by the winemakers themselves. The wine cellars form a street development with two small squares. The area is frequented by tourists and the development of wine tourism has been significant. It is accessible to the public all year round. During the season, several cellars open daily so that tourists can taste the local wine. In 2005, the local council built public facilities in the grounds. A lot of cultural events take place here in the summer months.
