Kovozoo
KOVOZOO is a completely original zoo with animals made of old iron. The aim of the project is to show both small and large visitors that even seemingly unnecessary waste can be turned into things that are not only beautiful and interesting, but still useful.
Currently, KOVOZOO is inhabited by nearly 300 animals and that number is constantly growing. The animals are life-size and cause surprises with their sophistication and perfection. In addition to these, you can also see dozens of other exhibits – things that may have disappeared from our lives, but we don’t want to forget. You can find discarded agricultural, industrial and firefighting equipment, historic vehicles, and common household equipment from our grandmothers’ time.
There are other attractions in the grounds as well, such as the Šrotík lighthouse observation tower, the Ship of Hope, an L-610 aircraft, which you can go inside, a Prague tram, footbridges, the KOVOZOO maternity hospital, a Congress Centre, a Veterans Museum, a Museum of Agriculture, a rubber maze made of tyres and many other interesting things, all in one place.
