The town hall in Hodonín’s Masaryk Square has an observation tower, which is open from May to September to all who want to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Hodonín. Visitors have to climb 150 steps up the 40-m-high observation tower. A special feature of the observation tower are the bells, which are rung daily at noon, 3 pm and 6 pm. The viewpoint also has binoculars. The town hall building was designed by the Viennese architect Ernst Gotthilf in the Nuremberg Art Nouveau style in 1902-1904. The tours are led by staff from the Hodonín Regional Centre.
